In navolging van Amazon en Google heeft nu ook Apple een slimme speaker<\/a> genaamd de: Homepod. Deze slimme speaker is gekoppeld aan het Apple systeem Siri, dat we kennen van de iPhone. Daar waar ze op het gebied van de slimme speakers, nog wat achterlopen. Lopen ze weer voor in slimme systemen die wat voor je doen. De Homepod is een zogenaamde slimme luidspreker, wat betekent dat het veel meer kan dan alleen maar muziek afspelen. Het is een apparaat wat je met je stem kunt activeren en bedienen.
